About Lisa.
I started LGM because of founders.
My closest friends are founders. I've watched them build something from nothing, driven by a vision so clear they can feel it, even when it's not coming through yet. The courage it takes to do that, and the gap between what they're building and what the world sees, is what brought me here.
After 20 years inside some of the world's most recognized brands, I wanted to put that experience in service of the people I admire most. I am not a consultant who delivers a deck and disappears, I am a real partner. Someone who understands what's at stake, knows what great looks like, and stays invested in getting it right.
That's what LGM is.
My Experience.
20 years inside the brands founders admire. I began my career at Levi's in San Francisco, spending 7 years leading digital brand and marketing for one of the most iconic names in fashion. From there I moved to Portland to join Nike, where I spent 11 years leading global digital brand strategy and scaling the women's business to nearly $1B. Before launching LGM, I directed integrated marketing at Banfield Pet Hospitals, connecting brand storytelling with customer experience across digital channels.
What those 20 years gave me: a clear picture of what it looks like when a brand's vision is fully realized in marketing, and exactly what's missing when it's not. That's the lens I bring to every founder I work with.
A Life In Wellness.
My connection to wellness runs deeper than my career. I've practiced yoga for nearly 30 years — it's been a constant thread through everything. During and after my time at Banfield, that connection deepened in a significant way. A shift in how I was living, brought on by perimenopause, pulled me further into wellness, meditation, and what it means to truly take care of yourself. I got registered as a yoga teacher and taught for two years.
That chapter changed me. And it's part of why I'm drawn to the founders building in this space. I'm not just a strategist who works with wellness brands. I live in this world.
How I Work.
Listen. Every engagement starts with listening. Before I build anything, I spend time understanding where the vision is getting lost — not just what the marketing looks like, but what's missing underneath it. What the founder is trying to say, where it's breaking down, and what the brand actually needs to move forward.
Build. From there I build the foundation. That usually means a positioning platform first — the clear articulation of what the brand stands for and how it shows up. Then a marketing plan, content strategy, and channel direction that carry it through. Everything is integrated by design. Nothing lives in a silo.
Stay. I stay in it through execution. That means regular alignment, course-correcting along the way, and making sure the strategy holds as it moves from document to real world. I don't consider it done until it works.
Who I Work With.
I work with founder-led brands in wellness, lifestyle, fashion, and creative categories. Founders who have a strong vision — who know what they're building — but feel like it's not coming through in their marketing the way it should.
Often they're women-owned or BIPOC-owned brands doing meaningful work that deserves to be seen clearly. They're not looking for hype or quick fixes. They want a real partner. Someone who will take the time to understand what they're building and help them express it in a way that actually connects.
If that's you, I'd love to talk.
